Train for service.

Runs, rucks, land nav, and adaptive plans built around your pipeline — plus the schooling, the recovery tracking, and the standards you are actually measured against. Every session tracked, scored, and synced.

Pick your pipeline.

Thirty-five of them, from the day you ship to basic to the day you report for selection. Onboarding asks which service you are in and where you are headed; standards, goals, and recommended plans build themselves around the answer.

Questions.

The ones worth answering before you download anything.

What does it cost?

The app is free to download, and a lot of it stays free: five Learn schools in full and the first two lessons of the rest, the land nav tools, GPS tracking, the recovery log, and the service PT test plans — AFT, USMC CFT, Navy PRT, Air Force PT, free in full. Somebody studying for the AFT should not hit a wall. The four basic-training programs, Train Like an Operator and Pool Swim Development also open their first two weeks to everyone as a preview.

No pipeline costs anything if you were here for the beta. Anyone who created an account before purchases were switched on keeps every pipeline and program unlocked on that account for life, including pipelines added later. It is how the people who tested it and sent feedback get paid back. The AI coach subscription is not part of it: every paragraph it writes costs money to produce, so it is paid for everyone.

After that, what you buy is a pipeline, not a plan, and you buy it once. Some Learn schools are sold on their own too, and you can buy on the website as well as in the app: see pricing. Unlocking SFAS opens every program that pipeline recommends. A plan that several pipelines recommend unlocks with any one of them, so nobody pays twice for Selection Strength. Each basic-training pipeline is $9.99 and each officer pipeline $14.99, or buy the four services or the five officer schools together as a bundle for $24.99.

The one subscription is the optional AI coach: $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year after a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, for everyone, beta testers included. After a session or a change to your plan, it writes a short two-paragraph note about what the app found, using only the numbers the app already worked out. It never sets your targets and never adds a figure of its own, and it writes up to two notes a day. Everything it explains is on screen without it, and pipelines never need it.

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. It is offline-first by design: your training lives on the device, and GPS tracking, land nav, plans, and lessons all work with no bars at all. That is deliberate — the places you train for this are rarely the places with coverage.

An account is for backup and leaderboards, not for using the app.

Do I need a watch?

No. A phone in your pocket records the whole session. A watch adds live heart rate and lets you leave the phone alone.

There is an Apple Watch app for runs, rucks with load, swims, strength work, and land nav marks, and a Garmin Connect IQ app that records rucks natively with the same Pandolf calorie model. If you wear something else, runs and swims published to Apple Health or Health Connect by a Garmin, Samsung, Fitbit, or Whoop import on their own.

Why does it want background location?

Because a ruck takes hours, and tracking that stops the moment the phone goes in your pocket is a ruined session. Location is recorded only during a session you started, and the app explains what it collects before it ever asks.

Is my training data uploaded anywhere?

Only if you sign in, which turns on cloud backup. Signed in, activities, workouts, plan progress and achievements back up to an account protected by row-level security.

Your daily check-ins and your ache log are never backed up under any setting. Two optional features send a little more, and only if you turn them on: the AI coach (findings such as heart rate, sleep, and an ache’s body part, side and severity — never your notes or your route) and set sharing (the motion of a set, stored with nothing that identifies you). The privacy policy has the full list.

Who can see me on the leaderboards?

Nobody, unless you switch them on. They are off by default, and turning them off takes you down immediately — there is no cached copy to expire.

When you are on a board, other people see a handle and a number. Not your routes, not your dates, not your sessions, and no way to reach any of them. Typed-in sessions are excluded from rankings: a place has to mean something, and a text box does not.

Where do the standards come from?

Public sources, cited in the app — service doctrine and published requirements rather than a recruiter's summary or forum memory. Land nav follows TC 3-25.26, casualty care follows the CoTCCC TCCC guidelines, knots follow TC 3-97.61, and each pipeline lists the documents its standards were built from.

Is there an iPhone version?

Yes. Lensatic is on the App Store for iPhone, with the Apple Watch app included.

Android is on the way. It is not on Google Play yet.

How do I delete my account?

From the app, in Settings (the gear on Profile), or from this page if you no longer have it installed. Deletion removes the account and everything synced under it. Anything that only ever lived on your device goes when you uninstall.

Is this official?

No. It is an independent training tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense or any military service. Nothing here is medical advice, and no lesson replaces the training you will be given.

Tested it in the beta? If you created an account before purchases were switched on, every pipeline is yours for life — every pipeline, every program, including the ones built later. (The optional AI coach is a separate subscription and is not included.) Sign in with that account on the App Store build: the unlock lives on it, so it follows you to a new phone.
